Cherry Blossom Festival

We were so lucky to arrive in DC during the annual Cherry Blossom Festival!! Such a gorgeous time of year here. Over a million people come in from all over the world to see these beautiful trees donated to us from Japan. In 1912 Tokyo donated 3,000 trees to the city of Washington DC and we have been celebrating every year since.

The Jefferson Memorial is really beautiful.
Me and my momma! When the weather gets warmer I want to ride one of those paddle boats around the Tidal Basin.
The next 4 pictures or so are from Haley's camera. You get a good idea of just how many trees there are around the basin.

Haley and myself!!
Us again!
I got a little artsy with the camera.
The weather had been really off and on, but luckily when we went it was beautiful and sunny!
A flight taking off from Ronald Reagan International Airport.

The flowers are so pretty and bright!
Mom is a big fan of candid pictures.
I am obsessed with pictures.
In the city. Ok, that's the end of the candid picture slideshow.
If you are ever able to come to DC during the Cherry Blossom festival, do it!! It's usually around the end of March and beginning of April.
