Some more pictures from Greece. And some random facts. I try to include information so people feel like they not only see these places, but understand a little more about them too.
When Athens became the capital of Greece in 1834, it was a mere village of 6,000 residents. The Athens of today is home to 4.5 million people and covers an area of 165 square miles. The Acropolis, one of the great wonders of the world, actually consists of four ancient buildings: the Parthenon, Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and the Propylaea.
